We're Hiring Election Inspectors Right Now! The Oswego County Board of Elections employs hundreds of poll workers on Election Day. We are in need of poll workers to work a variety of polling places for the upcoming primary election in September and general election in November. Poll Workers are responsible for performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: signing in voters, directing voters to their correct polling place, assisting voters that may need your help voting, and documenting information on appropriate forms. The General Election runs from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and poll workers serve from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Primary Elections run from Noon to 9 p.m. and poll workers serve from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Remember: in order to work you must be registered in either the Democratic or Republican Parties.
