Emergency Response Seminar for Firefighters and First Responders Is Aug. 22
The Oswego County Fire Coordinator's Office announces that Niagara Mohawk's gas and electric emergency response seminar will be held for firefighters and other emergency responders from 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 22 at Oswego County BOCES, county Route 64, Mexico. State fire instructor Donald Forbes, who is supervisor of fire training for National Grid in Oswego, will teach the class.
"This seminar will cover several aspects of emergency response associated with utility hazards," said County Fire Coordinator John Hinds. "The course is an opportunity for fire officers, fire fighters, EMS responders and law enforcement to learn more about natural gas and electrical hazards that they may encounter in emergency situations."
