Oswego County Drug Task Force Announces Arrest of Volney Man
VOLNEY - A search warrant was executed on the residence of Martin E. Madden in the town of Volney following an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Drug Task Force, the Fulton City Police Department, and the Oswego County Sheriff's Department. The search warrant resulted in the discovery of 27 marihuana plants and over two pounds of processed marihuana and fireworks within his residence and outbuildings.
Madden was subsequently charged with the following:
Madden was arraigned by Hon. James Aluzzi of the Volney Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Volney Town Court on Monday, November 17 at 6 p.m.
The present charges represent an allegation that the defendants engaged in such conduct. As a matter of law, defendants are presumed to be innocent of these charges.

On 10/20/14 at 11:06 a.m., Sierra R. Wright, 18, of 170 Cornell Rd., Hastings, NY was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor stemming from a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Hastings when she allegedly struck an individual with a closed fist while holding an infant in her arm. Ms. Wright was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Hastings Court on 11/26/14.
On 10/21/14 at 10:15a.m., Neriah L. Noel and Corey E. King, both 18 and of 517 Ontario St., Fulton, NY were arrested for Burglary, 2nd degree, a class C felony and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor with Ms. Noel also being charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, 5th degree, a class A misdemeanor stemming from the investigation into an incident in the Town of Volney where they allegedly entered the residence and stole jewelry along with electronics. Ms. Noel and Mr. King were arraigned in the Town of Volney Court by Hon. Judge Aluzzi and ROR'd with a return to court on 11/10/14.

On 10/21/14 at 11:32 p.m., Patricia A. M. Hall, 37, of 483 Rathburn Rd., Fulton, NY was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 7th degree and Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument, both class A misdemeanors stemming from a domestic dispute in the Town of Hannibal where she was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin. Ms. Hall was released on an appearance ticket, returnable to the Town of Hannibal Court on 10/28/14.

On 10/20/14 at 9:20 a.m., Jack D. Soluri, 35, of 16823 Comstock Road, Adams, NY, was arrested for Failing to Report a Change in Address and Failing to Mail in an Annual Verification Form both class E felonies under NYS Corrections Law-Sex Offender Registry. Mr. Soluri was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear before Town of Orwell Court on 11/05/14 to answer the charges.

On 10/20/14 at 10:25 a.m., Mario M. Storto, Sr., 42, of 7 Birch Lane, Apt. 31D, Oswego, NY, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Menacing, Second Degree, both class A misdemeanors, after he allegedly confronted a male victim with a ratchet during a verbal argument outside of his apartment complex while the victim was holding a child. Mr. Storto was issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Scriba Court on 11/13/14.

On 10/20/14 at 3:30 p.m., Trevor D. Huff, 22, of 9477 North Wickham Drive, Brewerton, NY, was arrested at the Onondaga County Justice Center based on a warrant issued by Town of West Monroe Court charging him with two counts of Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Mr. Huff was arraigned before Town of West Monroe Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $700 cash bail or $1,500 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 11/24/14.

On 10/14/14 at 10:50 a.m., Sharon A. Silver, 59, of 68 Lock St., Phoenix, NY, was issued tickets for No Inspection Certificate and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended on 10/07/12 for Failure to Answer Summons from the Town of Clay and on 5/01/12 for Failure to Answer a Summons in the Town of Lysander), during a road safety checkpoint detail established on SR 3 in the Town of Palermo. Ms. Silver is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Palermo Court on 10/20/14.
On 10/14/14 at 10:53 p.m., Christian A. Earl, 18, of 3388 Maple Avenue, Pulaski, NY, was charged with Insufficient Tail Lamps and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended on 8/07/2014 for failure to answer a summons in the Town of Sandy Creek), following a traffic stop on Maple Avenue in the Village of Pulaski. Mr. Earl was issued tickets returnable to Town of Richland Court on 11/06/14.
On 10/17/14 at 9:59 a.m., Angela L. Hamlin, 34, of 24 Parkhurst Road, 2, Oswego, NY, was operating a 2011 Nissan eastbound on SR 104 in the Town of Scriba when she reportedly rear-ended an eastbound 2012 Chevrolet suburban driven by M.A. Attenborough, 63, of 81 E. Ninth St., Oswego, NY. The incident occurred 200 feet west of CR 53 as Ms. Attenborough was stopped in traffic at a construction zone that was limiting the road to one lane. Ms. Hamlin was issued a ticket for Following Too Closely.
On 10/17/14 at 11:30 p.m., Amber L. Wilmott, 21, of 4 Catherine St., Oswego, NY, was arrested for Promoting Prison Contraband, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after she allegedly brought body piercing jewelry and hair ties in a plastic bag hidden within her body into the Oswego County Correctional Facility. Ms. Wilmott was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Oswego City Court on 10/28/14.

On 10/18/14 at midnight, Charles L. Carter, 28, of 235 Main St., Apt. A, Richland, NY, was taken into custody based on a bench warrant issued by Town of Richland Court. Mr. Carter was arraigned before Town of Parish Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear before Town of Richland Court on 10/20/14.

On 10/18/14 at 8:19 a.m., George M. Wise, II, 43, of 251 S. Sixth St., Fulton, NY, was taken into custody based on a Family Court Warrant. Mr. Wise was arraigned before Town of Oswego Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to appear before Oswego County Family Court on 10/20/14.
On 10/18/14 at 6:29 p.m., Charles L. Carter, 28, of 235 Main St., Apt. A, Richland, NY, was arrested based on a bench warrant issued by Oswego City Court. Mr. Carter was turned over to a member of the Oswego City Police Department for further processing.
On 10/19/14, Gregory H. Breslin, 39, of 191 CR 13, Lacona, NY, David W. Dillabough, 32, of 25 Rocking Horse Lane, Sandy Creek, NY, and Kaitlyn A. Peabody, 30 of 3996 Port St., Pulaski, NY, were each arrested for Criminal Possession of Marijuana, First Degree, a class C felony, and Unlawful Growing of Cannabis, a class A misdemeanor, after allegedly participating in a marijuana grow operation conducted in the Town of Sandy Creek. Each was arraigned before Town of Sandy Creek Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility, Mr. Breslin in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond, and Mr. Dillabough and Ms. Peabody each in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond. They are each scheduled to return to court on 11/06/14.

On 10/19/14 at 10:30 a.m., a 17 year residing in the Town of Constantia, was arrested for Assault, Third Degree, a class A misdemeanor, following an incident that occurred at Oswego County BOCES on 10/17/14 when she allegedly caused physical injury to a 16 year old male victim by hitting him in the face, causing bruising and swelling to his eye. The girl was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Mexico Court on 11/11/14.
