On 12/15/14 at 5:43 p.m., Lance G. Aldrich, 49, of 271 CR 12, Phoenix, NY, was issued a ticket for Operation While Registration Suspended/Revoked (registration suspended for insurance lapse on 6/20/14), following the investigation into a disabled vehicle on Weller Road in the Town of Volney. Mr. Aldrich is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Volney Court on 1/12/2015.


December 16, 2014:

On 10/25/14, Jeremy E. Danielewicz, 20, of 314 W. Fifth St., Fulton, NY, was operating a 1993 GMC pickup truck westbound on Rowlee Road in the Town of Volney at 3:05 a.m. when he reportedly stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Baldwin Road, then began to turn north when a deer ran out in front of him. He reportedly lost control and struck an earth embankment resulting in property damage to the yard at 323 Baldwin Road. Unsafe speed appears to have been another contributing factor in the incident. Mr. Danielewicz was issued tickets for Speed Not Reasonable and Prudent and Unlicensed Operator.

On 12/15/14 at 10:07 a.m., Heather A. Simpkins, 26, of 897 CR 3, Hannibal, NY, was arrested for Welfare Fraud, Fourth Degree, a class E felony; Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, a class E felony; and Offering to File a False Written Instrument, a class E felony, stemming from an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services and the Oswego County Sheriff's Office. Reportedly, Ms. Simpkins unlawfully received in excess of $1,000 in benefitsduring the time period October, 2009 to June, 2010. Ms. Simpkins was issued appearance tickets returnable to Town of Mexico Court on 1/06/15.

On 12/15/14 at 10:13 a.m., William R. Hamacher, 36, and Stephanie H. Hamacher, both of 104 Center St., Cleveland, NY, was arrested for Grand Larceny, Third Degree, a class D felony, and Welfare Fraud, Third Degree, a class D felony, following an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services and the Oswego County Sheriff's Office. The pair reportedly unlawfully received social services in the form of food and money in excess of $5,000.00. Mr. and Mrs. Hamacher were each arraigned before Village of Central Square Court and released on their own recognizance. They are scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Mexico Court on 1/13/15.

On 12/15/14 at 10:32 a.m., Steven M. McCloe, 31, of 897 CR 3, Hannibal, NY, was arrested for Welfare Fraud, Fourth Degree, a class E felony, and Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, a class E felony, stemming from an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services and the Oswego County Sheriff's Office. Mr. McCloe reportedly received social services benefits in the form of money between October, 2009 and June of 2010 in excess of $1,000.00. He was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear before Town of Mexico Court on 1/06/14 to answer the charges.

On 12/15/14 at 6:22 p.m., Randolph S. Mandigo, 49, of 3257 Fulton Ave., Apt. 4, Central Square, NY, was arrested for four counts of Criminal Sex Act, Second Degree, a class D felony; one count of Rape, Second Degree, a class D felony; one count of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child, Second Degree, a class D felony; 12 counts of Sexual Abuse, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor; and 16 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor. Mr. Mandigo is accused of engaging in repeated acts of sexual contact with a female who was between the ages of 12 and 13 years old while at a Village of Central Square residence between August of 2013 and December of 2014. He was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to appear before Village of Central Square Court on 1/07/2015 to answer the charges. The incidents remain under investigation at this time.

On 12/15/14 at 11:10 p.m., Sean E. Cudubec, 28, of 159 Ames St., Apt. 5H, Mexico, NY, was taken into custody during a traffic stop in the Village of Central Square after an outstanding bench warrant issued by Town of Mexico Court was revealed. Mr. Cudubec was arraigned before Village of Central Square Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 12/23/14.


December 15, 2014:

On 12/04/14 at 5:48 p.m., Kelly M. Burden, 41, of 165 E. 13th St., Oswego, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended with a total of seven scoffs, five on three dates), and Unsafe Turn, following a traffic stop on East Bridge Street in the City of Oswego, after she was observed making a turn while failing to use a signal. Ms. Burden was issued tickets and released. She is scheduled to appear before Oswego City Court on 12/18/14.

On 12/09/14, Raymond Cruz, 41, of PO Box 404, Syracuse, NY, was operating a 2005 Chevrolet suburban southbound in a construction zone on SR 481 in the Town of Schroeppel at 11:14 a.m., being followed by a southbound 2003 Pontiac suburban driven by David C. Dunn, 46, of 7 Country Lane, Fulton, NY. Reportedly two feet south of Mile Marker 24.7, where the road was reduced to one lane, the Pontiac was rear-ended by a southbound 2013 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Paul R. Ashley, 68, of 250 North Main Street, Massena, NY, which in turn caused the Pontiac to rear-end the Chevrolet driven by Mr. Cruz. William Dunn, a passenger in the pickup truck, and Mr. Dunn, were both transported by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. Following too closely appears to have been a contributing factor in the incident. Mr. Ashley was issued a ticket for Following Too Closely.

On 12/09/14 at 1:27 p.m., Sonya J. Fellows, 28, and Michelle L. Moore, 33, both of 91 Canning Factory Road, Pulaski, NY, were each arrested for Criminal Trespass, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, after they allegedly entered a Town of Richland home without the resident's permission. Each woman was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Richland Court on 1/15/15.

On 12/09/14 at 4:55 p.m., Cassandra M. Vinnette, 29, of 41 Phyllis Lane, Hastings, NY, was charged with Operation While Registration Suspended/Revoked (registration suspended on 7/28/14 for insurance lapse); Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended on 12/06/14 for Failure to Answer a Summons in the Village of Central Square); and Operation Without Insurance following a traffic stop on SR 69 in the Town of Parish after a License Plate Reader targeted her vehicle. Ms. Vinnette was issued tickets returnable to Town of Parish Court on 1/13/15.

On 12/12/14 at 10:31 a.m., Lonnie H. Barber, 51, of 521 South Albion Road, Altmar, NY, was taken into custody based on a Fugitive From Justice Warrant. Mr. Barber was arraigned before Town of Volney Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to return to court on 1/12/2015.

On 12/12/14 at 3:39 p.m., Fortunato A. Parlato, 28, of 491 Plank Road, Apt. 8, Webster, NY, was arrested for Sex Abuse, First Degree, a class D felony, after he allegedly had forcible sexual contact with a women without her consent while at a Town of Scriba residence. Mr. Parlato was arraigned before Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court on 1/29/15.

On 12/12/14 at 5:34 p.m., Justin R. Merrill, 24, of 24 Country Lane, Fulton, NY, was arrested for Grand Larceny, Fourth Degree, and Welfare Fraud, Fourth Degree, both class E felonies, following an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services and the Oswego County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Merrill was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Mexico Court on 1/13/15.

On 12/12/14 at 6:05 p.m., Jessica R. Soble, 33, of 55 7th North Street, Liverpool, NY, was taken into custody based on a bench warrant issued by Oswego County Court. Ms. Soble is currently being detained at the Oswego County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment before Oswego County Court on 12/15/14.

On 12/13/14 at 5:12 a.m., Pablo Arnau, 59, of 116 State St., Phoenix, NY, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving With .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol, Mr. Arnau was released on appearance tickets returnable to Town of Granby Court on 12/15/14. Reportedly, the arrest was the result of him driving his vehicle off the road into the woods near Ostrander Road in the Town of Granby.

On 12/13/14 at 4:55 p.m., Timothy F. Benway, 49, of 7285 SR 3, Pulaski, NY, was taken into custody based on a warrant issued by NYS Parole that was revealed during an unrelated investigation. Mr. Benway was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail while waiting to be turned over to a member of NYS Parole.

On 12/13/14 at 6:17 p.m., Kassandra L. Shoults, 21, of 20 Airport Road, Bldg. 6, Apt. 4, Fulton, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from the investigation into an unrelated matter that occurred at her residence. Ms. Shoults was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Granby Court on 12/22/14.

On 12/14/14 at 10:30 a.m., Timothy F. Benway, 49, of 7284 SR 3, Pulaski, NY, was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Second Degree, and Criminal Impersonation, Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from an investigation that took place on 12/13/14. During that investigation initiated by a member of the NYS Police during a traffic stop based on a suspicious vehicle in the Town of Parish, Mr. Benway reportedly misidentified himself to a Deputy who was assisting at the scene. Mr. Benway is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Parish Court on 1/13/15.

On 12/14/14 at 7:45 p.m., Michael S. Smith, 47, of 823 Baldwin Road, Fulton, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (license suspended with three suspensions on two dates), stemming from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Silk Road in the Town of Volney where he reportedly collided with a deer. Mr. Smith was issued a ticket returnable to Town of Volney Court on 1/12/15.
