Police Reports:

On 2/5/10 at 3:54 p.m., Brian Carlson, 20, of Scenic Avenue Bldg# 5378, Mexico, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 3rd degree following the investigation into a two vehicle mva which reportedly occurred on SR 69 in the Village of Mexico. Mr. Carlson was issued a UTT, returnable to the Town of Mexico Court on 2/25/10.

On 2/6/10 at 6:29 p.m., Raymond G. Jordal, 47, of 5 Gill Rd., Mexico, NY was arrested for DWI (previous conviction in 10 yrs); Aggravated DWI; Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Crossing Road Hazard Markings; Speed Exceeding Conditions and Front Passenger Age Restraint Violation following the investigation into a property damage motor vehicle accident on CR 16 at the intersection with Chapman Rd. , in the Town of Mexico. Mr. Jordal was arraigned by Hon. Judge Adkins, Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250.00 cash or $500.00 bond with a return to Town of Mexico Court on 2/9/10.

On 2/6/10 at 2:05 p.m., Johnathon W. Richards, 26, of 395 Stock Road Apt #A, Hannibal, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 2nd degree ( 4 suspensions on 3 dates) following a traffic stop during a speed detail on CR 8 in the Granby. Mr. Richards was released on a UTT, returnable to T/O Granby on 2/22/10.

On 2/6/10, Andrew L. Berry, 27, of State Route 48 Bldg# 1744, Fulton, NY was arrested at 11:09 a.m., for AUO, 3rd degree and Operating a MV w/o Inspection Sticker following a traffic stop conducted by patrol during a speed detail on CR 3 in the Town of Granby. Mr. Berry was released on UTT’s, returnable to the T/O Granby Court on 2/22/10.

On 2/6/10 at 1:20 p.m., Jessica L. Pope, 20, of Libby Lane Bldg# 26847, Evans Mills, NY was arrested for AUO, 3rd degree ( suspended for insurance lapse and failure to pay fine in the Town of Adams) and Speed Exceeding 55 mph during a patrol conducted speed detail on SR 3 in the Town of Granby. Ms. Pope was issued UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 2/22/10.

On 2/8/10, James J. Roach, 33, of 53 Hall Rd., Hannibal, NY was arrested at 8:49 a.m. at the Oswego County Correctional Facility for Promoting Prison Contraband, First Degree, a class D felony resulting from the investigation into an incident which reportedly occurred at the OCJ on 2/5/10 where he was allegedly under the influence of drugs he introduced into the facility and distributed to inmates. Mr. Roach was arraigned in Oswego City Court by Hon. Judge Metcalf and remanded back to OCJ without bail. He is scheduled to appear in Oswego City Court on 2/16/10 to answer the charge.

Sheriff's Office donates to Human Concerns

Members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Benevolent Association recently presented a check in the amount of $200 and a food donation to the Human Concerns center located in Oswego, New York.
