On 11/23/15 at 6:21 a.m., Justin M. Bartlett, 27, of 38 Birch Lane, 37C, Oswego, NY was operating a 2006 Ford west on SR 104 in the Town of Hannibal, 100 feet east of CR 21, when he reportedly lost control causing the vehicle to cross the center line and collide with a 2015 Dodge pickup traveling east and being operated by Ernest C. Leonard, 53, of 12128 Duck Lake Rd., Red Creek, NY. Unsafe speed and icy road conditions seem to have been contributing factors. Mr. Bartlett and Mr. Leonard were transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital.
On 11/23/15 at 1:00 p.m., Maher Al Aljandale Alrifae, 57, of 3374 Fenwick Cres., Mississauga, Ontario was charged with Following too Closely and Log Book violation following a two vehicle mva on SR 69 in the Town of Amboy, 1 mile west of SR 183, when a school bus registered to the APW Central School District being operated by Barbara J. VanSanford, 67, of 210 Red Mill Rd., Parish, NY was stopped with red warning lights flashing when the bus was reportedly rear ended by the 2007 Freightliner being operated by Mr. Aljandale Alrifae and registered to Ontario Inc. Mr. Aljandale Alrifae was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Ms. VanSanford and a passenger, Jessica M. Lyon, 24 were both transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center also. Unsafe speed and the glare from the sun seem to have been contributing factors.
On 11/23/15 at 6:39 p.m., Robert T. Williams, 37, of 65 Beech Rd., Altmar, NY was arrested for Petit Larceny following the investigation into an incident that occurred on 11/6/15 at the Village of Central Square Walmart where he allegedly stole consumable goods along with household items. Mr. Williams is scheduled to answer the charge on 12/9/15 in the Village of Central Square Court.
On 11/20/15 at 12:00 a.m., Cathy M. Berry, 26, of 3518 SR 3, Fulton, NY was arrested for Petit Larceny following the investigation into an incident that occurred in August 2015 at the Village of Central Square Walmart where she allegedly stole personal care items. Ms. Berry is scheduled to appear in the V/O Central Square Court on 12/14/15.
On 11/20/15 at 9:13 a.m., Corrie D. Moran, 32 and Heather M. Moran, 35 both of 202 Syracuse Avenue, Bldg. 202, Oswego, NY were arrested for Grand Larceny, 2nd degree, a class C felony; Welfare Fraud, 2nd degree, a class C felony and 4 counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing, 1st degree, a class E felony stemming from an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services. Mr. And Mrs. Moran were arraigned in the T/O Minetto Court and remanded to the OCJ with bail set at $2,500/$5,000 for Corrie and $1,000/$2,000 for Heather with a return to T/O Mexico Court on 11/23/15.
On 11/20/15 at 2:10 p.m., Randi L. Hosenfeld-Hillman, 33, of 510 Jefferson Ave., Fairport, NY was arrested for Grand Larceny, 3rd degree, a class D felony; Welfare Fraud, 3rd degree, a class D felony and 4 counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing, 1st degree, a class E felony stemming from an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services. Ms. Hosenfeld-Hillman was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court by Hon. Judge Adkins and is scheduled to appear on 11/24/15 in the Town of Mexico Court.
On 11/21/15 at 9:20 a.m., Ray L. Munger, 27, of 839 Gilbert Mills Rd., Fulton, NY was arrested for Welfare Fraud, 4th degree and Grand Larceny, 4th degree, both class E felonies stemming from an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services when he allegedly received services from March - November 2011 which he would not have if he had reported incomes received. Mr. Munger was arraigned in the Town of Mexico Court by Hon. Judge Moretti and is scheduled to reappear on 12/12/15.
